A stone’s throw from the beautiful St Paul’s Square sits our production offices.
When designing the office it was important for us to make the space feel like a home away from home.
It’s something that we’ve been working on for a while, with the environment continuing to evolve, dictated by how the team use the space and what they need.
Fancy taking a peek inside? Enjoy the tour!
The beautiful St Paul’s Square is a historic gem in the heart of a modern, bustling city. Walking through the peaceful square allows for a moment of quiet reflection each morning before the madness begins.
Sharing is a theme repeated throughout the space, with this encouraged by our blackboard situated by the staff entrance. Not only does it share projects’ progress, so the entire team can see client feedback and branding goals, it’s also a social space where team activities and interests can be posted.
The space is designed to flow. There are no closed doors or off limit spaces, reflecting the business ethos of a cooperative, collaborative environment.
One space leads into another, with a simple sliding screen allowing one space to become two should anyone need to utilise a quiet ‘thinking zone’ for a moment or two.
Adding our own character to the building was integral, and we thought what adds more character than a character? Two of our most successful campaigns and character designs have been graffitied onto the walls. A TV ad initially, our MazumaMobile ‘B-Boy’ campaign went viral with over one million hits on YouTube.
Having Maz oversee our daily activities also instils the importance of sharing in our industry. Viewers sharing campaigns builds brands, and we should always make an ad with this in mind.
He also points the way down to the meeting and relaxing area.
Wednesday cinema nights are also a regular occurrence (what can we say, the sound and visual quality is amazing!)
When we set out to design the office, we wanted to foster the feeling of family. Hopefully we’ve created a cool, interesting, inspiring space, where all, and all ideas are welcome.
We hope you’ll drop by soon.
