Police x The Batman

The Italian brand of fashion accessories is well-known for its designs and pop culture tie-ins. Through their ongoing partnership with Warner Brothers, Police had a golden opportunity to shine in the dark universe of The Batman. The upcoming movie, set in the early years of the Dark Knight’s crusade against crime, would be Robert Pattison’s first take on the character. Hype was huge.


To capitalise on it and display its modern lifestyle pedigree, Police had developed 4 exclusive watches inspired by The Batman. And the brand relied on Koala’s creative expertise to develop an impactful suite of global assets to promote them. As fans of the Dark Knight and fashion lovers ourselves, we relished the chance to create the concept. 


With the help of Dennis Madden, DOP, we filmed stylish and moody lifestyle shots of the watches, inspired by the movie aesthetics. In parallel, we developed high-end CGI to recreate and animate the watches to maximise visual engagement and product recall. Then, edited it all with cinematic panache, including footage from the trailers to keep the narrative and promotional edge, as per WB’s request.
